Principle
Brendan O'Reilly, a native of Flourtown, Pennsylvania, came to Vermont in 1978 to attend Burke Mountain Academy and train to be a ski racer. After graduating from UVM, where he skied and studied forest and wildlife biology, Brendan traveled around North America, working as a naturalist along the coast of Maine, planting trees in northern Ontario, and building homes in Colorado, Alaska, and Hawaii. He also spent 18 months touring the globe. Brendan returned to Vermont in 1991 and in 1992 incorporated Gristmill Builders in Stowe. Brendan, his wife and daughter live in Stowe, and he enjoys biking, participating in marathons and triathlons, gardening, and, of course, skiing.
